Hey all, is there a way to get VCam to flip my camera image? I have a 2-in-1 and I like to have it flipped for video chat, but once flipped VCam shows video upside down. Even though windows and teams both flip the camera automatically. Thoughts?
Hi there, there is no option yet on VCam to flip the feed of the webcam selected on VCam. May I ask the need to flip the video? You can also forward this as a feature request here https://ideas-xvc.xsplit.com/
I have posted to the to ideas link. There was actually an existing post about image fliping that was marked compete even though the feature isn’t available.
As I stated in my post, I have a 2-in-1 laptop. I prefer to use it in tent mode for video conferences. however with VCam, it doesn’t recognize the camera has been inverted so it leaves the image upside down. If I don’t use VCam (which I prefer to use because of backgrounds/bluring) my vid conference software flips the image no problem.
Thank you for the clarification, could you provide me a screenshot of your VCam app showing the camera feed?
I think the image flip request you were referring too was the issue in LINE app, but that was already fixed in VCam.
Here is the new feature vote for flipping the camera https://ideas-xvc.xsplit.com/suggestions/99943/flip-the-camera-horizontally-and-vertically.
so, what I commented on is https://ideas-xvc.xsplit.com/suggestions/71173/add-fliprotation-function-to-vcam-my-line-applications-video-is-upside-down. Which literally says image upside down. I’ve submitted to that, and here and via FB. what you just linked is talking about mirror function. so flipping left to right. which is not my problem.
