Getting: "There was a problem communicating withthe youtube live servers"

Getting “There was a problem communicating with the Youtube Live Servers” over and over.

I have successfully streamed a few sessions using Youtube Live Service, but since this morning I keep getting the error above.

Interestingly, when I test the stream, all seems fine and I get a bar showing the bandwitdh being consumed…

Any clue or logs I could have a look at in order to try debugging what is happening?

Thanks a million!

PS: I uploaded the logs into your XSplit’s server:

Hi! You could try a couple of things and see if it still gets the error:

  1. Remove then re-add the YouTube Live output in the Broadcast menu of your XSplit Broadcaster window.
  2. Uninstall and reinstall the YouTube Live plugin under Tools > My Plugins.

Are you using XSplit Broadcaster Version 3.9, or the PTR for Version 4.0?

Hi, funny since yesterday evening, it seems to be working
thanks for the quick reply!

PS: I am using the latest version of the XSplit Broadcaster

Alright! Let us know if anything else comes up.

I suddenly started getting the same error. Any ideas?

Try change “stream now” to “new leave event” in stream details window

Hi! It looks like this is an ongoing problem that the devs are looking into. For now the known workaround is to use Custom RTMP:

I had the same error…
Thanks for the help!
I went to Tools > My Plugins and found out the youtube plugin needed to be updated.
Ran the update and worked great, thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
