XSplit VCam Black background since software update Sep 29

Didn’t uninstall existing program before applying update. Update causes any background of my own (photo/image or video loop media files) to display as black. Uninstalled and reinstalled program from website. No change. Available XSplit backgrounds do work. How do I fix this?

Hardware works with other apps and am able to replace background in other apps so it is specific to Xsplit Vcam software update.

If you are using UNC files, then you’ll need to map the network drive or copy it to your local drive. Please check this post for more info.
